Etsy Love: June

I've been feeling a little lacklustre of late. Maybe it's the cold (it's winter here now, brrrr), maybe it's the hours at work, maybe it's the fact that we're thinking about moving but haven't made a decision yet, or maybe I'm just in a lazy phase. Who the heck knows. But today I had a whole bunch of new ideas come into my brain. Yippee! So whilst I'm working on these I've got some more Etsy Love to tide you over:

Addison Rd Markets

On Saturday, I had a crap day. Firstly, I got up way early to head to the Rozelle Markets in expectation of a fabulous thrifting adventure - fail. I found NOTHING! Then on the bus on the way home my driver was all swervy then ran up the back of a car on the Pyrmont Bridge. Fail again!

But it's okay. Because on Sunday Carly J and I went to the Addison Rd Markets. So. Much. Fun. The Addison Rd Markets in Marrickville are pretty much my favourite place to me in the whole world of a Sunday morning. There's mountains of delicious organic food, a bunch of fantastic handmade crafty stalls, and a few second hand clothing/decor stalls - all fantastic! Not to mention the billions of puppies sniffing around while their respective owners sniff out a deal/delicious pie.

Super Thrift! Super Thrift!

So on Tuesday night Carly J and I headed to the Central Coast to visit my lil' sis, Court, who's off to Europe today. On the way home my other lil' sis, Larn, took Carly J and I to a couple of thrift shops, woah! So. Much. Fun. Here's a couple bits and pieces that I scored:

Awesome faux crystal plastic candy dishes ($2 each) - and the lovely headband and beads! ($5 altogether):

I just stumbled upon this AMAZING lamp at dottie angel:

and fell immediately in love.

I then quickly googled "bunny+lamp" and found this at Rockett St George in the UK:

I think he would look just perfect... umm... well, anywhere in my room. Aaahhh-dorable.

Just google searched for Australian sites - found him for a whopping $150AUD at Lark. *sniffle*
