I know I shared these books a little while ago when I first bought them, but I'm really not thrilled with the images from that post, so here they are again, in all their glory!
I love that both of these books feature embroidery patterns of all different styles, from Hungarian crewel to your stick standard cross stitch. And the colours and designs are just gorgeous. Seriously, check out the cushion below:
I always love seeing the people photographs in these types of books, Seriously, how unimpressed and awkward does this little girl look! Cute little outfit though...
The tree on the right is definitely my fave.
Oooh - love old embroidery books!! I love reading the old type and laughing at the photos, too, though - that girl is sooo funny! And I want that cushion on my couch...gorgeous! :)

These are incredible! I have a bunch of Golden Hands craft magazines which I constantly turn to for inspiration.
