I've been meaning to make an inspiration wall for about as long as I can remember. My room is pretty much set up perfectly for it, what with all it's giant white walls. So yesterday afternoon I flipped through a stack of my favourite magazines and snipped out a bunch of my favourite pics, and combined it with a handful of my favourite nick nacks from around home.
It's so pretty!

An adorable little zine about a bunny called maurice from Dudley Redhead.
These two brilliant zines from my FAVE zine maker, Mechelle B! Sadly no online home for this brilliant lady as far as I can tell!
Eek! Kittehs! This beauty is created by the lovely Kitiya Pilakis.
And these two brilliant zines by the Burrow, bunnies on the front, feminism on the inside. My kinda zine!

Yesterday was the funnest day. Srsly, the funnest. We started off with an early morning out at Sydney Olympic Park for the annual RSPCA Million Paws walk, holy lawd do I have some adorable puppy photos to share with you later this week!
Then in the afternoon we headed over to the MCA for the annual Zine Fair! I went along a couple ofyears ago and just remember being completely over stimulated by the incredible load of talent in the room.
This year sadly, I was slightly more overwhelmed by the number of people crammed into such a small space, there really is nothing more irritating than wanting to check out a zine no more than a metre to your right but not being able to reach it because there are just too many people in the way! Hello claustrophopia and minor panic attacks. Bah! The photos below are of the more spacious side of the room.
Still, I got to see most of it and managed to see most of it a picked up some really brilliant pieces.
I bought a whole munch of little bits and pieces, can't wait to share them with you in a follow up post tomorrow!

It has been a long, long time since I did a thrift post. Mostly because it's been a long time since I thrifter. Like, srsly, ages.
So when I found myself just hanging around the central coast for a day I though tomyself "I feel like going to the giant warehouse Smith Family across the road!". And then I went to the giant warehouse Smith Family across the road.
Holy crap did I do well. The bad thing was that I had ot lug it all the way home on foot, but that was okay. Because it was awesome stuff and totally worth it.
