A Weekend Over the Bridge

This past Sunday Miss Cate and I decided to forgo our standard Sunday fare of relaxation, puppies and corn fritters at the Marrickville Markets and instead ventured over the bridge to visit our respective families.

Ball Park Music are the Bomb-diggity.

A couple of weeks back Miss Cate and I headed to see Ball Park Music. I'm gonna go right ahead and assume that those not from the land of Aus probs haven't heard of these guys, but, well, you're going to thank me in a minute because they're possibly the most loveable band around.

Hailing from Brisvegas, these dudes (and one dudette) put on a hell or a show, and no matter how drunk frontman, Sam Cromack, gets, he still manages to not bugger anything up. Srsly though, at one stage he was lying flat on the stage talking about his inability to give birth. It added a certain colour to the show...

Still, I managed to get a few good shots, it really made me want to shell out on a fancy telephoto lens though... One day!

Shopping for Straps

So, I actually really totally got my brand spankin new DSLR on Monday!
